In Depth — For the Curious
The Mind That Becomes a Wishing Tree
Indian mythology speaks of the Kalpavriksha — a wishing tree that grants any boon. Sadhguru teaches that this is not mythology at all, but a description of what a human mind can become.
“A well-established human mind is referred to as a kalpavriksha, or a wishing tree that grants any boon. With such a mind, whatever you ask for becomes a reality.”
The problem with most minds is not lack of power — it is lack of organization. Thoughts pull one way, emotions another, the body a third, energy a fourth. A person lives as a civil war of inner directions, then wonders why nothing they intend comes to fruition.
How It Works
Chit Shakti addresses this systematically. Once your thoughts get organized, your emotions get organized too. Gradually, your energies and body follow in the same direction. Once thoughts, emotions, body and energy are channeled in one direction, your ability to create what you want becomes incredible.
The mechanics are vibrational: the whole existence is a reverberation of energy — and your thought is also a vibration. If you generate a powerful thought and let it out, it will always manifest itself, provided you do not weaken it with a contradictory, negative thought process.
The meditations in the “Power to Create” series apply this to specific dimensions of life — health, love, success and peace — guiding the mind to create each one vividly and hold it unwavering.
The Two Rules of Creation
Sadhguru is precise about what makes visualization actually work. Two things are required:
First — create every detail vividly. Not a vague wish, but the ability to see and feel the whole creation in your mind, as the Creator did.
Second — keep your personality out of your imagination. This is the hard part. When a person carries a sense of inadequacy, they try to leave their stamp on everything they create — and the creation stays small, contaminated with their own insecurities. A creation made without ego is made the way the Creator made it.
When imagination is coupled with your life energies, it is no longer just imagination — it becomes a living reality. If your visualization is powerful enough, Sadhguru says, it can even break through the bonds of karma.
